Domino's Whiteladies is located in the affluent Clifton suburb of Bristol whose name derive from 'Clistone' meaning a hillside settlement. Nearby, spanning Avon Gorge is Brunel's impressive Clifton Suspension Bridge, a wonderful creation and a famous icon of Bristol itself. Originally a village grand, now Georgian houses line the roads and Berkley Square has some fine examples. One famous terrace is the Royal York Terrace; with its commanding views of Bristol Docks and the Gorge below, it was used as a location for the 2006 comedy Starter For Ten starring James McAvoy.
